The Pat Murphy Band plays for many different types of functions and is equally at home at any of them. The band prides itself on being professional and easy to work with in any type of situation. The following is a sampling of some of the functions and organizations that we have played for over the years.

Conventions

The band plays many, many of the conventions and receptions that take place year around both here on the Mississippi coast and all over Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. We have very good relationships with many of the convention and meeting planners in the area and play year after year for many of our convention customers.

Weddings

The band is completely at home in this environment. They usually start out playing light jazz instrumentals and standards such as Girl from Ipinema and move on to the livelier numbers as the crowd dictates. These affairs are usually formal attire and the band is always dressed sharply.

The band has always played the many venues that feature live entertainment in the region and have always enjoyed good working relationships with club owners near and far.

Outdoor Festivals

The band has always been featured at many of the outdoor festivals that are presented in the region. The band is completely at ease working with professional production companies and has played to crowds of 7500 and larger.
